Guided by their mentor, Professor Frederick Terman, often called “The Father of Silicon Valley,”  Hewlett and Packard transformed a simple audio oscillator project into a business empire. Terman encouraged students to turn research into real-world innovation, laying the foundation for Silicon Valley.
